Walking

Walking Hours

The Hughes Fieldhouse is available to students, staff, faculty and Maryville Community Center members for walking the track.

  • Walkers are welcome during our community walking times.
    • Please see the hours page for more information.
  • Parking is allowed on the South side of the building.  Please enter and exit through the Wells Bank South doors.
    • Note: Vehicles in the parking lot after 1 p.m. are subject to parking tickets.
  • Check in at the desk by swiping your Bearcat or Maryville Community Center (MCC) membership card.  All members must have their valid card with them. 
    • MCC members, if you would like an extra card for Hughes Fieldhouse, the MCC front desk can print an additional card for $5.
  • Strollers and walkers are allowed on the track.

CareerDay

Career Day

Career Day is a time for candidates to meet with a variety of employers and graduate school program representatives to discuss internship and full-time employment opportunities. The event is inclusive of all employment opportunities available to students. The Education Expo has been merged with this event.

This event is free for all students, alumni and community guests to ask questions, network and learn about the many organizations!


Bearcat

Sports Camps

Northwest Missouri State University Intercollegiate Athletics Sports Camps offer a safe and fun environment for skill development and education. Coaches and student-athletes deliver instruction and feedback to improve athletic performance and grow the tools necessary for success. A focus will be placed on the development of multiple skills necessary for achievement at a high level with an emphasis on sportsmanship. Camps are primarily offered in the summer include: football, soccer, basketball, tennis, volleyball and strength/speed/agility training; while baseball and soccer are offered in the winter.
